Evergreen 2: This Design, Build, Fund Transfer project was the first of its kind on the railway, as the contractor supplied the funding to build two new platforms at Marylebone and improve headway between Bicester and Marylebone. Once completed, the assets were transferred to Network Rails stewardship.
Evergreen 3: This programme delivered further enhancements to the Chiltern Main Line and is also financed by private agreement. The enhancements included junction remodelling, track realignment and signalling enhancements in Phase 1 plus works to build a new chord and track doubling /re-instatement of the Bicester to Oxford Line to allow a new route from Oxford to London Marylebone in Phase 2.
Evergreen 2: Our site-based planner ensured that the complex contractors programme was maintained and that the project team were informed of any areas that may have caused delay to allow proactive management. We also had active input into the prevention of over-runs in railway possession-related construction activities.

Evergreen 3: Our role was to produce robust programmes and quantifiable risk registers to secure funding and subsequently to manage the contractor’s integrated programme for the design and build of Phase 1 (c£100M). Equib’s depth allowed other staff to independently review the delivery programme and advise on the likelihood of achieving the commissioning dates.
